Note: I changed my weigh-in day to Thursdays, so there’s an extra 2 days in this week’s weigh-in. I was hoping for at least 2 pounds, esp with the extra couple of days, but no such luck. I dunno why, because I stayed well under my calories, exercised 5 days, drank my water, and didn’t have any alcohol, but that’s the way life goes I guess.

Thoughts: Ate out twice this weekend (Fri & Sat night) but I budgeted it in my calories by looking up info before going to the restaurant. I had a good food week overall. I’m hoping the change to Thursday weigh ins will make the holiday toughness easier to work off, but we’ll see. I have never really liked weighing on Tuesdays and only did so because that’s what they picked as the weigh in day for the “Biggest Loser” contest at work. It ends Tuesday and I don’t see any shot of me winning unless I go into the hospital on a liquid diet or something 🙂        Hmmm, there’s an idea, haha. I’ve been in second place almost the whole time but just never could take over the top spot!

One more thing: I’m changing my exercise thought process for a few weeks to see how it changes things. Lately, I’ve been focused on getting my 2 miles in at 30mins or less, requiring lots of jogging. It’s exhausting for me and makes exercise a hated effort. I’m going to concentrate on walking for a longer amount of time at a slower pace. (Not slow, just slowER, lol…)  Tuesday I did 3 miles at an average pace of 3.8mph. For me, that’s movin’ it. I still want to work on increasing my speed, but all I can think is my exercise sessions just aren’t long enough to see good results. As much as I want to be a jogger, it’s just going to take me a little bit longer to work up to that than most people I think  =)
I’m also going to walk at the track at the park some this weekend for a change of scenery. The treadmill everyday in my living room is getting very boring.
