Total Loss: 31.8 pounds in 21 weeks

I *so* needed that number after the past three weeks, two being gains and one being the pitiful loss. I bumped up the exercise a bit this week, didn’t drink any alcohol, and didn’t do *as* bad on the weekend so I feel proud and that I earned it! I’m so happy to be approaching 200 again!! 

Quick look at the week: My water was GREAT as it was our weekly challenge on the Biggest Loser game we’re doing on caloriecount.com. I exercised 4 out of 7 days. I was aiming for 5, but lazy happens and we all know I loathe exercise. Calories were good most days. I hit around 1600-1700 most days, except yesterday had an abnormal 1310. Fri-Sun who knows…especially Sunday. It’s hard to count when you snack all motha freakin’ day.

And now…my Perfect Ten update (Week 4!):

-Walk/Jog 100 miles (by the end of the challenge)–I walked ten (!!!) miles this week for a total of 27 towards my goal of 100. Something tells me I should be closer to 50 since we’re almost halfway through this challenge. Ruh-roh. OH…I almost forgot I did some jogging too, but nothing to blog about really. I just hate it! At least, the breathing part.

-Do strength training/toning exercises three times a week (via DVD’s and the Wii Biggest Loser game)–I only did this once this week, again. I’m just not that into you.

-Complete 3 sections of my big writing project–Not as good as last week. I got about two pages done…which for me, in a week, is sucky. I blame Under The Dome for most of this, as well as scrapbooking…which I got SIX pages done of over the weekend. I think I have way too many hobbies.

-Lose ten pounds–I lost 2.3 this week, which FINALLY takes me out of the red. So if my math is correct, I’ve “lost” 1.1 pounds since January 1. Wow when you put it on paper like that it sounds kinda bad! At least the ship is finally moving towards the goal instead of the bottom of the ocean!

-Set at least one goal for the day, no matter how small, and reach it, everyday. –Booyah! Still the best idea ever…did it all week, loving it!

-Drink at least 80 ounces of water each day–I completed this five days. Damn weekends. I just do NOT consume as much water on Saturday and Sundays as I do at work!

EDIT: I always forget something new/unique about myself. Back in 2000, for about six months, I got to work backstage at a weekly wrestling show that was broadcast all over the area (3 states!)…I gave the referee time cues in his earpiece and also helped produce backstage segments. Not a huge assignment, but I was in heaven. So interesting and one of the best periods of my life!

Alright. So next week at this time I’m hoping to have written more, read more of Under the Dome (I’m about to hit page 500!), and lost a pound or so. I just wanna keep the momentum going. Going on vacation in the middle of March and I would love to look slimmer in the pictures! I am also gonna try to keep the mileage up, the water up, no drinking this weekend, and hopefully no baking. What is it with me and baking on the weekends? Put down the cookie sheet man!
